The California Consumer Privacy Act, or CCPA, officially went into effect on Jan. 1, 2020. However, enforcement action by the California attorney general (in terms of fining organizations found to be non-compliant) begins July 1, 2020.
Marketing, advertising, and digital analytics professionals should already have a clear understanding of what the CCPA is, whom it applies to, and what steps companies must take to ensure compliance under these new privacy guidelines. For a refresher on these points, however, and to ensure your organization is prepared for this new, stricter phase of privacy regulation we entered on July 1, join Tag Governance Specialist Lucas Long a one-hour webinar.
In this session, Lucas will cover:
- Practical requirements for the CCPA
- Disclosure
- User access and deletion requests
- User opt-out
- Recommendations to ensure compliant marketing/advertising technology architecture
In this webinar, Lucas will discuss the practical requirements that all marketing and advertising professionals need to understand. He’ll explore requirements around user transparency, user access, and deletion, as well as user’s rights to opt-out. After going through these requirements, he will provide practical recommendations to ensure your business is ready for enforcement.
