This release introduces AI-enabled scanning for any CMP to extend consent audit coverage across previously unsupported consent setups and custom implementations. Intelligent site onboarding now surfaces access restrictions and available consent conditions upfront, while expanded privacy details, audit error classifications, policy management improvements, and audit completion notifications improve day-to-day visibility and usability across the platform.

Features

AI Enabled Scanning for Any CMP

Audit any website, with any CMP.

AI enabled auditing now allows Tag Inspector to reliably simulate user consent states for any CMP that is in use. Including:

  • All Available CMP Vendors
  • Custom CMPs
  • Non-Standard Consent Options

User Journeys - Journey Recording

Ability to record and audit a defined user path on a website to audit against the site’s tag consent policy. Ensure no unauthorized tag behavior in violation of consent standards through user journeys such as checkout and lead submission workflows.

Audit Completion Notifications

Email notification support added to notify users in an account upon:

  • Ad hoc audit completion
  • Scheduled audit completion

Privacy Details Expansion

Tag Inventory updated with additional privacy information about all vendors. New context added includes:

  • If the platform is a registered data broker
  • Links to publicly available privacy information such as Data Processing Agreements
  • Additional context about privacy-impacting features such as chatbot and session recording capabilities.

Policy Management Updates

Policy management has been made more intuitive with the ability to edit policy names and visually differentiate policies with active vs inactive Sites applied to them.

Intelligent Testing at Site Addition

Intelligent testing at the time of new Site onboarding identifies if the website is blocked from being accessed due to region or firewall restrictions and identifies the standard consent conditions available to users on the site to better facilitate new Site addition.

Errors that would preclude a website from being audited are surfaced for the user to be able to resolve and successfully add the site for regular audits.

Audit Error Context

Definitions and classifications of all identified errors into buckets to enable user notification for errors that require a user action to fix and automate internal notification for issues requiring support or engineering action.
