Soon after it was announced that West Chester, Ohio was adding a TopGolf location, I added it our 2016 Q3 “PPC” (Party Planning Committee) event options. Despite just a handful of my colleagues being regular golfers, TopGolf won unanimously! Not long after we arrived last Friday, we discovered why this fancy driving range facility had so much hype.
TopGolf prides itself on being an entertainment center for the whole family. According to its website, 80% of people classify themselves as ‘non-golfers,’ so our group fit right in. And for those that still weren’t interested in swinging a club, there was an arcade, corn hole, and multiple lounge areas…they could always watch the rest of us hack away trying to ensure we didn’t whiff the ball!
Amin, Consulting Manager for InfoTrust Dubai, happened to be in town last Friday so he was able to join. Say “hi” Amin!
We also had a special guest: Andy and Mary Bengel’s newborn, Abigail! Here’s Heather with the baby (who could resist holding her?!). And, of course, the proud parents were in attendance.
Ultimately, the InfoTrust crew spent about 2 hours at TopGolf, which was all we could handle in the heat. While we typically try and switch up our PPC events every year, I could see TopGolf making it back into the rotation as soon as 2017!
