If you’re a digital marketer, chances are that you have heard of an A/B testing tool that Google launched called “Google Optimize”. Over the last year, there have been beta versions, which users could sign up to be added to a list to use, but as of this month Optimize is officially out of beta and available for everyone to use.
The best part is that there’s a free version that marketers can leverage right now! This is very exciting as businesses were spending thousands per month on to have access to Optimize in the past.
What is Optimize?
Optimize is an A/B Testing tool that allows you to test different versions of your website and analyze which best serves the goals of the business. For example, if you are a lead generation business trying to get users to contact you from the website, you might want to test different versions of your Contact Us form to see what one drives the most leads. But that’s just a basic example and it’s important to understand that Optimize has the functionality to perform a variety of tests based on your business goals and also has the ability to target specific groups of users.
The best part is that Optimize can easily be linked with Google Analytics, which is extremely valuable, and it’s pretty easy to implement on your site with only a few lines of code. Although there’s still a paid version (Optimize 360), if you are a small or medium size business, the free version should be more than enough to get you started.
