Amin Shawki receives Individual Qualification from Google

Google Analytics QualifiedCongratulations to Amin Shawki for passing the Google Analytics Qualification test!

Amin took the test last week and aced it, pretty much like everything else he does.

 What is the Google Analytics IQ Test?

Google describes the The Google Analytics Individual Qualification (or Google Analytics IQ) as “a proof of proficiency in Google Analytics that is available to any individual who has passed the Google Analytics IQ test.”

GA is a free product so anybody can use it. As a matter of fact, as of June 2012, 55.8% of company websites world wide are using GA. But using GA and doing it right are two different things. That is why Google Introduced this certification in order to separate the common user from a Google Analytics expert.

Now that Amin passed the test, we have 3 Analytics jedi masters – Amin Shawki, Michael Loban and Alex Yastrebenetsky, all certified, and all perhaps a bit too excited when they see a page view hockey stick chart.  Curious about a hockey stick chart? Here’s an example:
