As InfoTrust continues to grow, we find ourselves in the position of constantly interviewing candidates. One of the first questions that most candidates ask me is regarding what I like about working at InfoTrust. What makes our culture so great? It’s not the free lunches (although that helps), the ping pong or the outings. It’s the people. So when we hire a new person to work with us, it’s so important that we get someone who is a good match to our core values. We have been lucky enough to find a number of great new employees lately and we’d love to take a moment to introduce you to them…
Kevin Treece
Kevin has the distinction of opening our San Diego “branch” as a Senior Web Analyst. Kevin has had a storied history in analytics dating back to his times in much colder Chicago. He started working analytics with his newspaper group in 1996 and eventually his career took him through Empire Carpet, Chico’s and Jenny Craig before landing at InfoTrust. Kevin joined InfoTrust because he knew that he would be challenged and be a part of a great team.
Working from his home office in California allows Kevin to fully enjoy some of his passions, one being cooking. You’ll always find him grilling or trying out a new recipe from Gobble. On the “fun fact” side of things, Kevin is also a Batman fanatic. He actually has his own bat cave and advocates for Adam West in his spare time. He has been known to attend the consulting stand up in full bat gear.
Kevin and his wife Sheri enjoy the sunny weather of California and spending time with their four dogs. He also has two older sons who are in school back in Chicago.
Kaylie Kipe
Kaylie joins us from just outside of Seattle as our new marketing manager. She claims it to be less rainy (albeit cloudy) than people think, but she may be not be using an analytical model with that.
Kaylie enjoys food, her lap-dog cat (sure, that’s a thing), golfing, running and anything sci-fi. Kaylie also enjoys big projects (that’s what got her the job) and recently moved seven tons of rock by hand to transform her backyard from sad grass to a large, koi pond oasis.
Kaylie was previously working at Seattle Coffee Gear but was interested in the challenge of truly growing a business through marketing and developing the marketing processes, from strategy to implementation.
Zain Ikhlaq
Zain joins our Dubai team as an analytics consultant. He has been living and working in Dubai for the past 2 years and was in Libya (where he’s originally from) before that. Prior to working for InfoTrust, Zain worked as a software engineer at STEP (managers of Step conference) – one of the largest start-up/tech focused educational organizations and conferences in the region. He also created some awesome APIs using restify in nodejs for a custom CMS which he is most proud about.
Zain loves football (the U.S. office calls it soccer) and he gets loud when he roots for his favorite team (Germany). He loves challenges in life and tries to improve how he does things on a daily basis. This is usually done by staying up way into the night learning new technologies/development languages, fueled by his high levels of coffee consumption.
Areef Ahamad
Areef is our newest Cincinnati office employee and comes to us in a blended role of technical project manager and analyst. We’ve known Areef for awhile now, as he was an attendee at our Analytics that Excite conference for the past two years.
Areef had been working at Luxottica but was interested in the opportunity to work with different clients, focus on Google Analytics and the start up culture at InfoTrust.
Areef and his wife Azra have two children, Zaina and Zaid. So you could say that his family is from A-Z. Although his kids have taken over his hobbies, Areef enjoys movies, cricket and travelling. Areef thought he was a good ping pong player until he joined InfoTrust.
