Wow, the InfoTrust office is barely recognizable lately with all that we have going on. First and foremost, I’d love to welcome our new developer Andy Bengel. Andy is a lifelong Cincinnatian who joined our team in October. Andy went to Wright State (we really needed some new blood outside of UC and Xavier) and lives in Green Township with his wife Mary. Andy enjoys the Cincinnati Cyclones (future company outing) and recently returned from a tour of Ireland. He may have even shown up drunk on Irish Whiskey for his first day here. We did not notice. Welcome Andy!!
We also added another face Tyler Terrill as a part-time designer. Tyler has done some freelance work for InfoTrust in the past, and we loved it so much that we had to have him here in the office a day or two each week. Tyler is also a student, so we are happy to have him during his “spare” time.
As I alluded to in the title, we have also been on some new adventures. We were honored to attend the Business Courier’s “Best Places to Work” luncheon a couple weeks ago. I love the InfoTrust culture and work dynamic so much that it was actually a highlight of my career to stand and represent our awesome culture at the awards ceremony. We were also first time attendees at Xavier’s “Meet the Firms” night where Jimmy and I met some outstanding future Marketing graduates. It was actually a full “Jimmy and Heather” day as we spent the morning gathering donations for the East coast victims of the Hurricane Sandy and taking them to our business neighbors Matthew 25 Ministries. We managed to sneak a little PF Chang’s in on our way back from Xavier where Jimmy got carded and Heather did not. Really tough way to end an otherwise rewarding day.
I also had an awesome visit to Northern Kentucky University on Monday which means that during the last two weeks, I have had the pleasure of being at three top Cincinnati area universities. InfoTrust is certainly keeping me busy searching for new talent to join our team. And, it’s an easy sell. Where else do you find a movie gift card on your desk when you can’t make the opening of the new James Bond movie with the rest of gang?
It’s not all fun and hard work in the office either. Later on this month, we will have the privilege of serving a lunch at the Ronald McDonald House. Stay tuned for pictures and probably even more new faces to welcome!
