Giving back to the community is built into the core of InfoTrust’s culture. From quarterly service events to the annual Thanksgiving Basket Brigade, our team gets seriously fired up about giving back! So, ‘What’s a Basket Brigade,’ you inquire?
Each year, InfoTrust partners with other businesses and community members to provide Thanksgiving meals to those in need. Our team members work closely with staff at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, Hamilton County Development Disability Services and more to identify families that would benefit from receiving a basket.
For over a month leading up to the holiday, we collect food items that ensure local families will have a dinner with all of the fixings! Mashed potatoes, stuffing, vegetables, hot cocoa and (of course) turkeys are assembled into – you guessed it – baskets and delivered to local organizations for disbursement.
“I was a proud member of the InfoTrust team when we hosted our first Thanksgiving Basket Brigade in 2013. Since then our efforts have doubled from serving 30 families to serving more than 60! Seeing the joy we bring to families in need, and knowing we helped ensure a full, warm dinner table on Thanksgiving, makes all of the organization and logistics not just worthwhile, but fulfilling” says Web Analytics Consultant, James Love.
We are passionate about the Thanksgiving Basket Brigade and think you will be, too – there truly is nothing more rewarding than giving back during the holidays! So how can you help?
There are two ways:
- Collect and contribute non-perishable food items! Food items can be dropped off at our Blue Ash office. To make an appointment for drop-off, email basketbrigade@infotrustllc.com. The list of needed items is below, so check it out!
- Stuffing
- Gravy
- Green Beans
- Corn
- Mashed Potatoes
- Cranberries
- Cereal
- Mac and Cheese
- Granola Bars
- Marshmallows
- Monetary contributions can also be provided (please email basketbrigade@infotrustllc.com for more details). These funds go towards perishable items (turkeys, rolls and pies), filling in the gaps from food contributions and expanding the basket brigade to more families with any extra funds.
