Estimated Reading Time: 3 minutes

Every website today should have an analytics platform to measure website’s performance and collect data that will help companies make better marketing decisions. Google Analytics is one of the best platforms that provides this service for free. However, just like any other technical tool it has to be properly set-up and configured. Otherwise, it will not work properly, and might show wrong data.

Often, we are asked questions about Google Analytics set-up and whether it is properly installed on the site. Proper set-up and tracking is absolutely necessary when it comes down to data reporting and analysis. Improper GA tracking can cause a number of issues on the website.

We see it time and time again, Google Analytics isn’t installed properly on all pages of a website and therefore the pain of incorrect data follows. Improper set-up of Google Analytics can cause the following issues:

    1. Campaign tracking
    1. SEO reporting
    1. Pages do not appear in reports
