Hello there! I’m Stephanie, a recruiter here at InfoTrust. I’m back with another edition of a Week in Life of Series, where our recruiting team meets with various InfoTrusters to learn more about what a week in their role looks like. This time I sat down with Michelle Roxas to learn what a week looks like for her as a digital analytics coordinator on our CPG industry team.
SH: Thanks, Michelle, for taking the time to talk with me about your role! Tell me, how long have you been at InfoTrust?
MR: You’re welcome Steph, and thank you for featuring me on your Week in Life of Series. I’ve been with InfoTrust a little more than six months now.
SH: What initially drew you to InfoTrust and the digital analytics coordinator role?
MR: I had been looking for a new job for quite some time, and as I checked the company (InfoTrust) profile, it really caught my eye. I have a friend who works here and referred me for this position and just raves about how well he is treated and how the company feels like a family. I knew I would love to work somewhere where I can be that close with my colleagues.
A digital analytics coordinator’s role is to take data and use it to help companies make better business decisions, especially with their eCommerce site. I chose this role because it encompasses the skills I’m good at, and I find it very interesting.
SH: How would you describe the digital analytics coordinator position at InfoTrust?
MR: I would say that the Digital Analytics Coordinator position here at InfoTrust is very challenging, yet rewarding. I was assigned multiple tasks by my direct manager which ensured productivity and contributed to a well-maintained quality of service. Based on the workload, I manage my tasks and complete them in a timely manner.
SH: Finish this sentence: Someone would enjoy the digital analytics coordinator role if they enjoy …
MR: … investigative thinking, collecting, and analyzing data. If you want a challenging but exciting role, Digital Analytics Coordinator is for you.
SH: What does a typical week look like for you?
Monday
10am – My typical day usually starts with me waking up around 10 AM. Then I get myself ready for the day and spend some time scrolling through social media.
2pm – My work day starts at 2pm. I normally take my morning coffee in the office and then start checking for offline messages on slack, emails, and meetings for the day. Then, respond to clients requests through the ServiceNow ticketing system.
5pm – Lunch break!
10 – 10:30pm – CPG Team Weekly Standup – This is a weekly team information share and creative discussion—it’s a place to reveal learnings, ask questions, and discuss blockers with the entire team. Our managers provide quick team info to start the meetings.
10:30 – 11pm – All Company Town Hall – This is led by management and gives general company updates. This is also where each department gives a brief team update as well.
Tuesday
2pm – I start my day checking for offline messages on slack, emails, and meetings for the day. Then, respond to clients requests through the ServiceNow ticketing system.
2:30 – 3pm – Catch up with my manager. This is when I receive an update or new task from him. He also gives me feedback about my work or the way I handled tickets and tasks assigned to me.
5pm – Lunch break!
10 – 10:30pm – Nestle Weekly Internal Meeting + Upskilling – Bring the internal Nestle team together each week to discuss major initiatives, the current status of the Nestle/InfoTrust relationship, and how we can improve the overall health of the relationship. It also covers a Nestle-specific topic to help the team “upskill” on different issues affecting the Nestle team.
Wednesday
2pm – I start my day by checking for offline messages on slack, emails, and meetings for the day. Then, respond to clients requests through the ServiceNow ticketing system.
5pm – Lunch break!
10 – 10:25pm – Delivery/Client-Facing Meeting – The purpose of this is to collaborate, discuss, and educate on InfoTrust’s delivery process and best practices for non-technical topics, soft skills, and business updates across teams.
10:30 – 11pm – BUYB – Infosharing and training – This meeting is optional but it’s a great way to also learn about cool things InfoTrusters are doing in their work or are passionate about outside of the office.
Thursday
12pm – I start my day by checking for offline messages on slack, emails, and meetings for the day. Then, respond to clients requests through the ServiceNow ticketing system.
5 – 5:20pm – Coffee/Tea chat with the Philippines team and our direct manager – This is just a “No Work Conversation”
5:30pm – Lunch break!
6:30 – 9pm – Spend the rest of my hours working on my tasks.
Friday
This is a no-meeting day for me. I only work on ticketing and other tasks assigned to me by my manager.
SH: Is there anything else about your role or InfoTrust that you think would be helpful for someone who is considering applying?
MR: InfoTrust is a great place to work. People treat each other with respect. Most importantly, they give importance to their employees. I feel valued as an employee. This is something that we cannot easily find in a company. I am a proud InfoTruster 🙂
