#23 AdAge Best Places to Work: Good Workplaces Have Good Values — Thanks for Shaping Ours

Ping pong tables. A fridge full of beer. A game room with bean bag chairs and a PlayStation 3. As recently as three years ago, these factors alone may have been the celebrated attributes for what makes a “best place to work” in our industry. But was there much substance to those companies that exuded a hip, edgy image?

Fast forward to 2019. InfoTrust has a 94 percent customer retention rate. Our team huddles in common areas at our Blue Ash office and services clients from around the globe. We have an Employee Net Promoter Score of 82. We dedicate time every quarter to support non-profits through the InfoTrust Foundation. And we’ve been named an AdAge Best Place to Work for the second time.

The best part? We didn’t try to be something we weren’t in the process.

We are proud to have been named one of AdAge’s Best Places to Work 2019. Ranking 23rd out of 25 companies with 200 employees or fewer, InfoTrust is the only company in Cincinnati — and one of two based in Ohio — to make the list.

This recognition from such an influential publication in our industry is a huge honor, but, being an analytics company, we know that the data below the surface tells the real story. Specific areas in which we scored well include employee benefits, company culture, employee development, company environment, employee engagement and employee perks.

In “What Makes a Best Place to Work,” AdAge cited the most important factors in the 2019 Best Places to Work program being employees’ feelings of support, encouragement, empowerment and purpose.

In my view, it all comes down to values. Every employee has played and continues to play a role in shaping our values. Our values define our culture, which, ultimately, allows us to deliver our best work for our clients.

Sure, we like to have fun and have intentional spaces for socializing and relaxing within our office. But we also have the serious job of helping some of the most valuable brands in the world make data-driven decisions from advertising to merchandising to user experience. We don’t leave things up to chance. We take initiative. We add value. We give to grow.

From me and the rest of the leadership team, thank you for making InfoTrust not just a good place to work, but a certifiably best place to work, by shaping our values and living them each and every day.
