Congenital heart defects (CHD) cast a shadow on the lives of 1 in 100 babies, marking them the most common birth defects. Yet, amidst the challenges, HeartWorks stands tall—a beacon of hope for children and families grappling with the complexities of CHD.

As a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit since 2006, HeartWorks has been dedicated to providing unwavering support to families navigating the intricate journey of CHD. Their commitment is not just to mitigate medical challenges but to provide a holistic lifeline encompassing financial aid, emotional support, and educational resources. In essence, HeartWorks is a sanctuary of compassionate care, illuminating the path for families facing this arduous journey.

Meet the HeartWorks Team: Unity in Compassion

The HeartWorks team is more than a collection of individuals; it’s a force of compassion united by a shared vision. At the helm is the visionary founder, Dr. Tim Nelson, whose decades of experience in medicine and cardiac development biology infuse HeartWorks with knowledge, strategic thinking, and unwavering dedication. The clinical operations, development, research, patient recruitment, and administrative teams work harmoniously, providing a profound impact on the lives of children with CHD and their families.

InfoTrust: Partnering for Impact

In a heartwarming collaboration, InfoTrust, an analytics and data privacy consulting company with a “give to grow” mentality, has helped further the HeartWorks mission. Beyond financial support, InfoTrust has provided pro-bono consulting services, contributing to the development of a new website and implementing a digital analytics strategy.

“We cannot thank you enough for your tremendous support and for being a part of the HeartWorks family,” Amy Deshler, HeartWorks Chief Growth Officer, recently said in an email to the InfoTrust team. “We are delighted to launch our new website and could not have done it without you! Thank you for helping us get Tim’s message to larger audiences and to the families who will benefit.”
