Migrating to Universal Analytics – 2013 GACP Summit

One of the major announcements at the 2013 Google Analytics Certified Partner Summit was a solution to migrate classic Google Analytics properties to the newest version, called Universal Analytics. This solution will allow users to keep historical data in tact while updating to the newest measurement protocol (a win-win!).

So what’s so great about Universal Analytics? Well, for starters, it allows you to track users across devices. If that’s not enough, you can also upload data to Universal Analytics from practically any system that can connect to the Internet. CRM systems, point-of-sale systems, security systems, the possibilities are endless!
