What Is a Google Analytics Premium Reseller

For those that don’t know, Google Analytics Premium is the paid-enterprise version of Google’s free analytics product.  Rather than spending too much time on what the differences are between the two products, check out the comparison on Google’s site and the following video:

So with the enterprise analytics product offered by Google, there is a need for some subject matter expert support.  That is where Google Analytics Premium Resellers come in.  Companies that are resellers have proven to Google their expertise using Google Analytics for larger, enterprise-sized clients, sites and brands and have Google Analytics implemenetation and consulting as part of their core business offering.  Being qualified as a Google Analytics Premium Reseller allows you to do just what the name implies, resell the premium product to clients alongside Google.  But it doesn’t stop there!  Premium resellers are expected to work with clients with initial implementations, ongoing support/reporting and architecting the best possible analytics set-up based on specific business and organization needs. Michael wrote a terrific blog post about this topic: 10 Evaluation Criteria for an Enterprise Website Analytics Solution.

What Being a Google Analytics Premium Reseller Means for Clients and Partner Organizations

There are many benefits to being a GAP Reseller, not only internally for InfoTrust to be able to offer this robust enterprise solution, but also for clients that use Google Analytics Premium.  Some examples of how being connected with a GAP reseller can help organizations include:

  1. All Google Analytics Premium Resellers are also Google Analytics Certified Partners.  This means InfoTrust has direct access to the Google Analytics Certified Partner portal, which is a place for Google to beta test new GA features, release new information or announcements to partners first and a knowledge-sharing base for more enterprise-like common issues and solutions.

  2. Resellers have direct access to Google analysts and engineers for higher-level issues and problems with tracking, related to Premium accounts.  One thing to note here: resellers can only contact Google regarding issues with premium accounts, not regular Google Analytics account.
  3. Not only do we, InfoTrust, value our relationship with Google but Google values relationships with their resellers.  This trust and connection provides a sense of urgency with issue resolution, which on the enterprise scale is critical.

So are you ready to take your digital marketing to new extemes?  We hope so!  If you need more information about Google Analytics Premium, check out our Enterprise Analytics page and feel free to contact us!
