First, I’ll answer the former part of this blog post’s title: Remarketing can help you reach people who have previously visited specific pages on your site as they visit other sites. For example, if a visitor reaches your contact us page, but never ends up filling out the form (this can happen for many reasons – last second they changed their mind, got distracted, computer died, who knows!), you can reach this specific visitor with a targeted ad, because chances are this visitor is more qualifed than the thousands of other people your targeted ad dollars are going toward.
In ecommerce, remarketing can bring people back to an article of clothing a visitor looked at but never pulled the trigger on. How do we know remarketing works? Retargeted consumers are nearly 70% more likely to complete a purchase as compared to non-retargeted consumers. Basically, remarketing allows you to reach qualified customers who have already shown interest in your brand, product, or website at a much lower price than traditional reach campaigns.
As for the latter question, how does remarketing relate to dating? The one and only Michael Loban explains it best:
Not in Cincinnati?
