This year, we’re extremely excited to announce another amazing list of speakers. Our speakers include:

With this awesome list of speakers, you may be wondering why would I need a list of five reasons to attend Analytics That Excite. Those speakers are well worth it!

Well, I would definitely agree with you there! But, unfortunately it sometimes takes more than your opinion. If you’re trying to get your work to send you, you’ll need to convince your boss or others in the organization that the event will be valuable to your work.

Have no fear, my friends. I’ve put together five reasons to attend Analytics That Excite (in no particular order).

5 Reasons to Attend Analytics That Excite

1. Brian Clifton is a Keynote

This might seem like a pretty vague reason, but for those that work in the digital analytics space and use Google Analytics, this should be reason enough. Brian is one of the leading experts on Google Analytics, having actually headed up Google Europe’s’s Web Analytics for Europe team from 2005-2008.

For those looking to hear one of the leading Google Analytics experts talk about how the web analytics industry has changed – and what’s in store for the future, this keynote speech is for you.

2. JT Kostman Will Be Discussing the Perils of Big Data

Sure, big data has become a buzzword over the last few years, with many companies claiming big data has changed the way their company operates or interacts with customers.

But big data isn’t everything it’s cracked up to be. Do a quick Google Search for “small data” and you’ll see people emphasizing small data sets over large ones.

There are challenges and risks associated with the use of big data. Luckily, we have JT Kostman, Ph.D., from Time Inc. to discuss “The Promise and Potential Peril of Big Data Analytics”.

If you work in big data or analytics, this keynote is for you.

3. Hundreds of Fellow Marketers and Analysts Will Be in Attendance

Are you looking to network with intelligent people within the marketing, advertising and analytics industries? Then this event is for you.

Last year, we had over 250 attendees from companies large and small come out for our inaugural conference. This year, we’re expecting even more. This is an opportunity to network with some of the brightest people in the region, working at some of the best companies.

Also, for those companies that are hiring, it’d be a great opportunity to find impressive candidates!

4. You Will Have Actionable Insights to Bring Back to Your Company

I’ve been to a good amount of marketing and analytics conferences. Most of them have both good and bad speakers. Some presentations I took nothing away from and some I took three pages of notes and 10 ideas away from.

I can honestly say we hand-selected our presenters because we know their content will be valuable and actionable to our attendees. Last year, I had to sneak away from some of my day-of conference duties to listen to a few of the presentations. I’ll probably have to do it again. They’ll be that good.

5. You Can Hear From Two of Cincinnati’s Top Startups

For those located within the Cincinnati area, we have the co-founders of two awesome startups, Strap and Ahalogy, presenting as well. For anybody in the Cincinnati startup community, these are can’t-miss presentations.

Both companies are graduates of Cincinnati startup accelerator The Brandery. We’re really excited to showcase local startups that love data and analytics as much as us!

*BONUS* We’ll Have Some Cool Swag for Attendees

I’m not going to ruin the surprise, but take my word for it, we’re going to have some cool swag.
